ABOUT THE BLOG

This blog is not here to make people feel guilty (what have we done ? What our ancestors have done? ) but to get information, to raise awareness and support each other TOGETHER. The question of the environment is in a way an emergency but we have some solutions if everyone can make an effort. We can't change what is done but we can stop or at least slow down the catastrophic progression.

We are going to give you some tips to improve yourself slowly. On this blog, you will find recipes and a lot of advice to help you reduce your waste. The goal is that everyone can make a small gesture for the planet and change their habits at their own pace.

This blog is based on our experience so there is no right or wrong answer but there are a lot of solutions. Also some people don't know where to start to reduce waste so you can comment on the posts or contact us if you have questions and maybe we can help you in this new way of life.

To help you navigate easily on our blog, we'll divide it in several parts : there will be one about how to avoid kitchen waste, another one about how to avoid bathroom waste and so one. Besides showing you how you can reduce your waste, we'll also give you tips to better sort it. In fact, only few things can be recycled and we don't always know it. You will find links of adresses or websites or books to help you discover more on the topic all along the blog.

So, come with us and save the planet !

ABOUT US

Hello you and welcome in our blog!
Let us introduce ourselves, we are four students at the University of Montpellier:  Florence who is 30 years old, she worked in a hospital in a pediatric ward but she resumed her studies to become a school teacher, she lives in the south of France in Béziers where the weather is good, life is calm and nature is diverse: beach, mountain, countryside, vineyard. All the different landscapes are close and hiking and enjoying nature has become one of her passions. It's for all these reasons that she is concerned about the environment and she decided to change her habits and her life style two years ago.
Then, there is Lise who is 22 years old. She is studying language sciences as a full-time student and is interested in a lot of subjects. She is really aware of the critical situation of the environment. Therefore, she tries, everyday, to do her best to reduce her impact on the planet : she doesn't eat meat, she tries to reduce her waste, to consume less, etc.
Last but not least, Camille and Célia both live in Ardèche : a wonderful place for nature lovers.
The youngest one, Camille, is 19 years old and follows a 2nd year of Classics and French Language studies in distance. In fact, she would like to become a teacher of Classics and French Language and Literature. In addition, the environmental cause is very close to her heart and she has tried to defend it in her everyday life since a few years.
And finally there is Célia, who is 20 years old and is a distant-student in sciences of language and communication. She is passionate about nature and the environmental cause. That’s why since her childhood her parents have taught her to live with nature and respect it. So since two years of her student life, she does everything she can to live her life and respect our earth at the same time. And then her wallet thanks her and earth too.
